Older post but good information! My wife and I recently bought an RV and use it extensively! The awning however, is looking old. I will have to go get some rv awning cleaning solution and try it and see if that cleans it. THanks for posting this. Gave some good information and ideas to help extend the life of my rv awning! Terry
